Thanks for your suggestion. My lawyer says that it's fine to have Computer Information Systems as per Education Evaluation draft. Though my lawyers are well experienced, I'm felling little bit doubtful on this.

It Depends on the type of security clearance. What is the type of clearance you applied for in your Dept and what agency do you work for and what type of work?
If you are in a very sensitive position which requires a secret clearance, even a GC will not alleviate the issue. Only a citizen can obtain such clearances (classified info.). On the other side, if it is background check like SF85P or NACI or SF86, normally you will be able to obtain one regardless of your immigration status. Worst case, for a clearance, you can try to obtain a Special Waiver from your Dept. I know this since I contracted for the Federal Govt on H1 got 10 yrs.

Any body has a soft LUD on approved EAD while I 485 pending.
Mine is 485 pending and my AP had (soft) LUD dated mid of Feb 2011.

I just got off the phone with a second level rep at USCIS and am getting really confused with their mixed messaged. before i push any panic buttons can some one please let me know if they had any conversations with the idiotic bunch at uscis and share your conversations with regards to the visa availability for next month. this idiot states that vsc just oversubscribed and that it could be that there wont be any movement on the cases. all this over enthusiasm for nothing - that would really infuriate me. there is a limit to the fuss they can cause and play with emotions.
Let us look at it positively. Sept dates are already published. Therefore, centers are now free to assign visas for cases they may have already preadjudicated, but wait for issuing approvals until September. It is quite possible that all the visas available have already been assigned to these preadjudicated cases, and they are now just waiting for September to come so that they can issue formal approvals

I like the DOF, and it would also work if the whole string of flowers were sharp.
There is possibly a bit too much flash, the shadows between the flowers are a bit hard IMHO.
I'd clone out the leaf at the lower left.

My wife's green card was approved on Feb 27th. My wife is currently in India with valid Advance Parole. I received her green card during March 15th. I am planning to visit India during June and bringing my wife along with me. It will be almost 5 months when I come back on July 1st week.
Will it create problem for my wife to re-enter to US? Since she has valid AP and GC card, can she enter without any problem? or does she need to come early since her GC was received ?

I am planning to visit India during May 2011. I am working in multinational company as civil engineer (on H1-B). I have PhD from US uni. I am reading a lot about visa stamping probs these days. USCIS has recently published a new fact sheet of common questions and answers for members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The fact sheet is worth reading if you are in the Armed Forces because the answers to some of the questions are different (and usually more advantageous) to members and/or dependents of those in the Armed Forces. For instance, if you are a civilian, obtained your green card through a marriage to a U.S. Citizen and you have been married for less than two years, you must file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=f858d59cb7a5d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCR D&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1 RCRD) to remove the conditional residence and obtain your permanent green card. I never received FP notice and got EAD/AP almost three weeks back. Is there a need to worry? or just wait..
My application reached to texas..they transfered to Cal...cal issued the EAD/AP and senta transfer notice for 485 to nebraska..didn't hear anything from nebraska..

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible for me to maintain my H1 status (and my wife's H4) status while re-entering the US using I-131 Advance Parole document without a valid H1 visa stamp in my passport.
Here's my situation: -
1. I have been on H1 status for the past 6+ years.
2. My current employer filed for an H1 renewal/extension petition for years 7-9 which has been approved and we have the approval notice.
3. My wife's H4 renewal petition has also been approved.
4. We both have filed for I-485 Adjustment of Status which is pending with USCIS due to retrogression.
5. Our H1 & H4 visa stamps in the passport expired in September of 2009.

It's not uncommon for text to be cut off when put inside a path. Perhaps the rest went missing and you didn't realize it since it all just looked like a bunch of binary code to you. It certainly does to me.
